After telling you a little about myself, here is a shortened version using Wordle.
Wordle is such a great tool for teaching and learning. There are so many ways to use it in the classroom. It can be used as an icebreaker for the beginning of the year to get to know my students. It can be used as a vocabulary builder. Students can use Wordle as a way to reinforce important vocabulary words by putting in a unit at a time. I can also use Wordle to prioritize concepts in math that are the most important to teach. I could copy the standards for my class and see what words are used the most.
I'm sure there are several more great ideas, but these are some that could be beneficial to teaching mathematics.
I really like your idea about copying the standards for the class and seeing what words are used the most. I think it could be interesting to actually do this activity with my students and discover with them the words that are used the most.
